The Plan of Salvation

We have found that many people believe in God but have yet to enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Becoming a Christian has nothing to do with things like attending church, being a good person, or donating funds to religious groups. Rather, becoming a Christian begins with receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith as an act of the will.

The Bible teaches us that all have missed the mark of God's perfection. This means that we are sinners and because God is morally perfect in every way, we are at odds with God who alone is perfect. But God demonstrated His love to mankind by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ to earth in order to die for the sins of the world (for you and me) and thereby paying the penalty that each of us owed God, but could never pay! For those who personally place their trust in what Jesus did at the cross and receive Him into their lives as Lord and Savior, they become a child of God, a new creation! (John 1:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17, Revelation 3:20)

Having begun by faith in Jesus Christ, we live our lives in obedience to the commands of scripture, motivated by the deep sense of personal gratitude that fills our hearts for all that God has given to us. God's plan is so wonderful! You can receive Christ right now. Here is a suggested prayer.

Dear Lord,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins.  I want to turn from everything I know is wrong. I now invite You to come into my heart and life.  I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

In Jesus' name, Amen
